The three pieces
A lehenga set is usually a flared skirt (lehenga), a fitted blouse (choli) and a dupatta. Bridal lehengas carry heavy embroidery such as zardozi and stone work; party wear lehengas are lighter and easier to dance in. The half saree (langa voni) is a South Indian style traditionally worn by young women for festivals.
Fit and comfort
Check the waist and length measurements, whether the blouse is stitched or unstitched, and the weight of the skirt — heavy embroidery looks rich but is tiring to wear for long ceremonies.
Questions buyers ask
Is the blouse stitched?
Listings say whether the blouse is stitched, semi-stitched or unstitched. Unstitched blouses let your tailor fit them exactly.
